Testimonials from AG students

“The enthusiasm of the AIGS lecturers was inspiring, and the science of the gems was enthralling. AIGS has a very large collection of gems for students to study, and the lecturers are also involved in the 'real world' market, generously sharing their knowledge and expertise. Learning with students from all over the world with many different experiences of the gem business was also a highlight, as well as the trip to the Jade Emporium in Myanmar.”

Gemma Antoinette Gibson, AG 2008

“Experience gained at AIGS are like natural rough gemstones direct, pure and solid without any flashy pretence. With thousands of gem specimens for students to observe in class and hundreds of gem dealers going about their business in close vicinity of the school, AIGS provides an ideal environment to acquire such connoisseurship of gemstones. Graduating as an AG from AIGS makes me confident in my ability to work in this fascinating gems world now ”

Naoko K. Macan-Markar, AG 2008

AIGS locates in Silom, the heart of the gemstone business district, gives AIGS students access to most retail, wholesale shops and brokers, right after class. Apart from that, I made many new friends and contacts from all over the world at AIGS. AIGS studies has helped immensely with my business set-up. It definitely gave me more confidence in dealing with wholesalers, brokers and street vendors.” Mr. Kenny Rogers, AG 2008
